Tom Morton

Tom Morton joined Craigs Investment Partners North Shore Branch as an Investment Adviser in May 2026. He brings a diverse commercial background spanning luxury consumer brands, entrepreneurship, capital raising and investment product development.

Prior to joining Craigs, Tom built his career across the drinks industry, including founding Best Wine Company and Lost and Found Wine. He later moved into growth capital and funds management, supporting New Zealand businesses to raise capital, contributing to the development of alternative investment opportunities for self-directed investors, and developing distribution strategies within the managed funds sector.

Based in Matakana, Tom enjoys working with individuals, families and business owners to achieve meaningful long-term financial outcomes. He supports clients throughout the Puhoi to Wellsford region and beyond. Tom believes good advice should fit around his clients’ lives, so he’s happy to meet where it’s most convenient, whether that’s at home, their business, or elsewhere.

By building enduring relationships and understanding the real-world challenges clients face, Tom helps them use capital to create security, support intergenerational goals, enable philanthropy and, importantly, enjoy life along the way.

Outside of work, Tom lives with his family on a small Matakana farmlet. He enjoys making the most of the local beaches and rural lifestyle, playing tennis, and is a budding hunter. He values the strong sense of community across the wider Rodney region.
