Our national partnership

Community Foundations of Aotearoa New Zealand

We’re a founding principal sponsor of the Community Foundations of Aotearoa New Zealand (CFANZ), an umbrella organisation for 18 community foundations throughout New Zealand. Community Foundations are set up to encourage personal philanthropy at a local level, enhancing community well-being and sustainability. For charities that target specific needs, such as child poverty, our CFANZ involvement allows us to provide indirect benefit to communities across the country. Craigs has supported the Acorn Foundation in Tauranga from its inception in the early 2000s.

Acorn Foundation

Craigs are proud to be long time supporters of the Acorn Foundation since 2004. The Acorn Foundation enables generous people to make a bigger impact in their communities, by investing donations and distributing the returns to causes close to their hearts, year after year.

Aoraki Foundation

Craigs is proud to get in behind rural New Zealand, supporting the Aoraki Foundation which exists to assist locals in making their dreams for a stronger South Canterbury community a reality.

Clutha Foundation

Clutha Foundation connects generous people with causes that matter throughout the Clutha District. Their smarter giving model transforms your charitable donation into an investment that is protected and preserved for their local region.

Eastern Bay Community Foundation

Supports the Eastern Bay of plenty region including Opotiki, Whakatane, and Kawerau Districts. Craigs are proud to support this Community Foundation and the impact of giving back to local communities.

Hawke’s Bay Foundation

Their story starts in 2012, when 10 visionary people from the Hawke’s Bay community started a fund to give back to the region they love and to inspire others to do the same, and the funds and generosity of the community have grown strongly ever since.

Hospice New Zealand

Hospice New Zealand plays an integral role in our community, and we’ve been proud national partners since 2008. We provide financial support to make a difference for patients and families across the country, working at a national and local level.

Rescue Helicopters

During the month of March every year, Craigs proudly run a company-wide fundraiser to raise funds for New Zealand’s Rescue Helicopters. Teams and individuals aim to complete any form of exercise to achieve 50km per day, with all funds raised donated to local Rescue Helicopters.

Garden Marlborough

Craigs are proud supporters of one of New Zealand's premier garden events, Garden Marlborough. Celebrating Marlborough's stunning landscape, it showcases the very best the region has to offer with a range of garden tours, workshops and social events.

Tauranga Riding for the Disabled

Craigs are proud to support Tauranga Riding for the Disabled (RDA). They assist disabled, at-risk and socially disadvantaged people from the Bay of Plenty region by providing equestrian therapy, horse care and equine assisted therapy.

Enterprise Angels

Craigs are ongoing supporters of Enterprise Angels who connect early stage companies with investors to maximise success. Enterprise Angels believe that growing innovative, socially and environmentally responsible companies is the key to ensuring people, communities, businesses, the environment, and the economy thrive.

Backing our sports communities

We partner with several sports events, teams, and organisations throughout the country to support a healthy competitive spirit and enable more connected communities.

Golf for Good - Golf NZ and the New Zealand Open

Golf raises more money for charities in New Zealand than any other sport, so it makes sense for Craigs Investment Partners to grow our involvement with New Zealand’s most played sport and help us connect with communities, our clients and further enhance our charitable endeavours.

The Bay Oval

Since the first club fixture in 2007, Bay Oval has been the home of Bay of Plenty cricket and hosted many cricketing moments from domestic to international level. Craigs are proud to support the Bay Oval, supporting cricket at every level.

Bay of Plenty Cricket

Craigs are proud supporters of Bay of Plenty Cricket, supporting the game at every level to develop cricket in the region. There is a strong focus on creating positive and authentic cricket experiences at grass roots, alongside providing elite pathways for all players.

Adastra Foundation

Adastra Foundation provides opportunities for extraordinary young New Zealanders striving for excellence. Through funding and a strong focus on personal development, education and mentoring, The Adastra Foundation supports individuals to develop as leaders in their communities.

Bay of Plenty Steamers and Volcanix

Craigs are proud supporters of Bay of Plenty Rugby, supporting both the Steamers and Volcanix to develop rugby in the region. With a commitment to high performance, innovation and diversity, BOP Rugby and Craigs share much in common, which makes for a strong and successful partnership.

We are proud to support our flourishing creative communities, so we partner with a variety of arts events and organisations to bring life and colour to the regions of New Zealand.

Aspiring Art Prize

The Craigs Aspiring Art Prize is now one of the largest acquisition Art Prizes in New Zealand. It is also a key fundraiser for the Holy Family Catholic School in Wanaka and an avenue to foster and encourage New Zealand emerging artists. This annual event attracts artists from around New Zealand and is becoming a nationally recognised award, growing every year.

Auckland Writers Festival

The Festival brings the very best local and international writers together with audiences to explore ideas, share stories and experience brilliant conversations. Every year there are over 200 public events, gathering together 230 of the world’s best writers and thinkers to celebrate the world of books and ideas.

Dunedin Public Art Gallery

Established in 1884, the Dunedin Public Art Gallery was New Zealand’s first Art Gallery and is renowned today for the richness of its historic collection and its close working relationship with major New Zealand artists.

Len Lye Centre Govett Brewster Art Gallery

The New Plymouth branch are proud to support the Len Lye Centre Govett Brewster Art Gallery. The Gallery continues to build on its 50-year legacy of presenting art, from local, national and international contemporary artists.
