Max Palmer

Max joined Craigs Investment Partners’ Hamilton branch as an Investment Adviser in August 2026, having first joined the firm in 2019 in Assistant and Associate roles.

Prior to becoming an adviser, Max spent two years in London as a Portfolio Manager, gaining valuable international experience managing client portfolios across global markets and navigating complex economic environments. During this time, he also oversaw the trading of Craigs’ UK investments.

Born and raised in Hamilton, Max is passionate about helping Waikato individuals and families achieve their financial goals, combining strong local connections with a global investment perspective. Having successfully completed the CFA Program, he has developed a deep understanding of portfolio management, economics, and financial markets.

Max is committed to building long-term relationships based on trust, transparency, and clear communication. He takes a client-first approach, working closely with clients to understand their goals and providing investment advice tailored to their evolving needs and circumstances.

Outside of work, Max enjoys spending time throughout the Waikato, playing golf at the Ngāruawāhia Golf Club, and training for competitive powerlifting. A proud Hamilton local, he values the strong sense of community and lifestyle the region provides.
