Geoff Zame

Geoff Zame joined Craigs Investment Partners in April 2009 as Head of Equity Research and was appointed Head of Institutional Equities in December 2010.

Prior to joining Craigs, Geoff was an Equity Research Analyst with ABN AMRO. He spent the previous six years with Telecom Corporation NZ, the majority of this time as Investor Relations Manager and then Finance Manager for Telecom’s Business Retail division. Geoff’s previous work experience included five years based in London as Finance Manager for Cater Allen and with Deloitte & Touche in Wellington, qualifying as a chartered accountant in 1997.

In his current role Geoff sits on the Institutional Sales Desk, in his former role as Head of Institutional Research Geoff covered had a broad coverage universe across a number of sectors and was a top rated analyst across Telecommunications, Transport and Media.

Geoff holds a Bachelor of Commerce (majoring in accounting and economics) from the University of Otago and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from the Securities Institute of Australia.

Geoff was awarded “Analyst of the Year” at the National Business Review 2011 INFINZ Industry Awards.
