Duncan Rutherford

With almost 30 years’ experience in financial markets, Duncan returned home from Sydney to join Craigs Investment Partners as an Investment Adviser in May 2023. Duncan has worked in New Zealand, Sydney, Hong Kong and Singapore, most recently for Goldman Sachs (in Sydney and Auckland) where he spent 14 years as a Managing Director in the Global Markets Division. Prior to that he spent 8 years with Macquarie in Sydney and Asia, and in the early stages of his career he was employed at ANZ and BZW/ABN AMRO in Auckland.

Duncan has broad-based equity markets experience, particularly in offshore equities, and has built a career based on a ‘Client First’ mantra. He leverages this when advising his clients, which include individuals, family trusts and estates, and local businesses.
