David McCallum

David McCallum is Director of Specialised Wealth and Alternatives, providing portfolio advice and implementation to our larger clients. He also works on our alternative assets programme, including sourcing access to private equity, infrastructure and private credit investments.

David joined the Investment Banking team at Craigs in 2010, before transferring to the Specialised Wealth Advisory Team in 2023. Prior to this, David undertook the same role at ABN AMRO for 12 years. He began his career at Bank of New Zealand in the Funds Management team covering equities research and asset allocation.

David is a director of Craigs Investment Partners and a member of the Craigs Investment Committee.

He is also a director of the New Zealand Social Infrastructure Fund Limited and Purpose Capital GP Limited, a member of the CFA Institute and a past President of CFA Society New Zealand.
