Aaron Shearer

Aaron Shearer joined Craigs Investment Partners Wānaka as an Investment Adviser in November 2024 and brings significant experience in the financial services industry.

Aaron began his career with an eight-year tenure at PwC Australia and PwC US, where he specialised in international tax, providing strategic advice to investment management firms in both Sydney and New York. He then spent nine years as a London-based principal at Davidson Kempner Capital Management, a global alternative investment manager. There, his roles included portfolio investment structuring, governance, and reporting.

Now based in the beautiful town of Wānaka, Aaron is dedicated to helping individuals, families, and organisations achieve their financial goals. By leveraging his legal and tax experience, clients receive personalised investment advice and coordination with local professionals to cover all aspects of their financial needs.

Aaron’s community involvement is focused on local conservation and heart health. He lives in Wānaka with his wife and two young children, and enjoys golf, skiing, and fishing.
