Exec Talks Series – Leonard Sampson, Port of Tauranga

Navigating through global trade uncertainty

Port of Tauranga has its finger on the pulse when it comes to New Zealand’s economy, particularly the primary sector. Our largest port exports 90% of our Kiwifruit, 70% of our dairy, and 30% of logs.

With plenty of shipping and trade uncertainty of late, we sat down with Leonard Sampson, CEO, to get his take.

It was a good reminder of how important Port of Tauranga is to New Zealand, and the numerous infrastructure assets it owns outside of its Tauranga base.
