We recently spoke with Kristina Price one of our investment advisers in Wellington, and asked her about how she helps her clients, her view of success and some key learnings.

How do you help your clients? I help my clients gain confidence and peace of mind in their financial decisions.

What is your why? No day is the same. The financial industry offers a wide range of challenges and opportunities. Each client’s situation is unique, providing variety in my work. I aim to be a trusted partner for my clients, guiding them towards financial security and prosperity.

The most rewarding part of my job? Building long-lasting relationships with my clients and being their trusted advisor. It is gratifying to know I am making a difference in their lives and able to educate them about investing along the way.

What does success mean to you? Shattering glass ceilings and proving that women excel in the world of investing.

What would you say to someone considering investing who perhaps is a bit anxious? Don’t let fear control your decisions. Remember that investing is a long-term strategy that requires patience and discipline. By taking the time to educate yourself, seeking guidance , and staying focused on your goals, you can overcome your anxiety and make smart investment decisions that can help you achieve the outcomes you want.

Women who inspire you and why? Queen Elizabeth II – The longest-reigning monarch in British history and a symbol of strength, dedication, and service. Her strength, resilience, and ability to navigate complex situations has inspired women all over the world to pursue leadership roles and challenge gender stereotypes.

Fast facts

Home town? I was raised in Surrey, England although I was born in Guatemala in Central America. I am half Gautemalan half British.

I made my first dollar: My first real job was waitressing; however I made a few pounds helping my parents at car boot sales when I was young!
