Richard Parkin

Richard Parkin joined Craigs Investment Partners Christchurch Branch in August 2026 following the acquisition of Hamilton Hindin Greene (HHG), a respected Canterbury investment advisory firm where he served as a member of the Investment Committee.

Richard brings over three decades of financial services experience to his role, having worked with leading investment and financial services firms in the United Kingdom before joining HHG in 2021. He has extensive experience working with a wide range of clients across the UK and Europe, helping them to develop investment strategies aligned with their goals.

Richard believes passionately in the importance of investing for the future and helping clients build long-term financial wellbeing. He works closely with clients to understand their objectives, whether they are investing for their children’s education, getting on the property ladder, building wealth, or planning for retirement. Richard is committed to demystifying investing and helping clients create tailored investment strategies that provide confidence and clarity.

Outside of work, Richard is a film buff and can often be found in the garage tinkering with a car or following Motorsport. Richard and his wife Shelley have two children and enjoy making the most of the New Zealand lifestyle.
