Greg Easton joined Craigs in October 2006 following the purchase of Greenslades where he had been for the previous two years. Prior to entering the financial services industry Greg worked in Corporate Finance and other financial roles at Fonterra Co-operative Group gaining invaluable experience in areas such as company valuation and financial reporting.
Greg’s involvement in the community includes but is not limited to being a trustee on charitable trusts, committee member of the Dunedin Club and President of the University of Otago Rugby Club
Greg works alongside John Blaikie specialising in portfolio management.
Greg holds the following qualifications:
- Certificate of Authorisation AFA (2011)
- NZX Diploma (2008)
- Post Graduate Diploma for Graduates (Statistics), Otago University (2000)
- Bachelor of Commerce (Finance), Otago University (1999)

John Blaikie
Investment Adviser
John Blaikie joined Craigs Investment Partners as an Investment Adviser in April 2017. Prior to this John spent eight years at Westpac as a Private Bank adviser in Wellington and more recently Dunedin. This followed a year working for a global Investment Bank in London. He also had a nine year professional rugby career in New Zealand and France before moving to the United Kingdom.
John advises clients in all aspects of equity, fixed interest investments and Kiwisaver, specialising in portfolio management for private clients and trusts.
John holds the following qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science (Biochemistry), Bachelor of Consumer & Applied Sciences, University of Otago (1997)
- BA (Hons) (Economics), University of Cambridge (2008)
- Graduate Diploma in Business Studies (Personal Finance Planning), Massey University (2013)
