John joined Craigs Investment Partners in early 2012. Previously he worked for Deutsche Bank AG in London for five years on a programme trading desk. John’s experience in London gave him the opportunity to trade European Equities across numerous European exchanges as well as index futures and foreign exchange.
John holds the following qualifications:
- Certification of Authorisation AFA (2012)
- Master of Science Degree (2003), University of Natal, Pietermaritzburg

Mike Hare joined Craigs Investment Partners in April 2013. Mike has worked in the investment, stock broking and investment advisory industry for over 20 years.
Previous roles include Director Institutional Equity Sales at ABN AMRO, Institutional Equity Sales at Salomon Smith Barney, ANZ Securities (including 3 years in London) and Private Client Adviser at ANZ McCaughan.
Mike holds the following qualifications:
- Certificate of Authorisation AFA (2013)
- Registered General US Securities NASD Series 7 Qualifications 2001
- NZSE Diploma (1994)
- NZSIA Certificate in Investment Analysis (1995)
- Bachelor of Agriculture (Valuation), Massey University (1987)
